The coaching with Abi has helped me develop in my new role. It has helped me put in place practical steps to better manage my time and wellbeing. The coaching sessions with Abi was pure luxury for me. It’s not often I have the chance to delve into my thoughts, question my decisions and have the opportunity to talk about my work, my thoughts and my plan for the bigger picture. The sessions gave me clarity, gave me the space to explore possibilities and to make decisions about my current (and future) career plans, in a safe place with a gently inquisitive and empathetic mentor.

Decision-making process, which used to be a source of anxiety, has become a much more comfortable process for me. The sessions helped me develop a clearer understanding of my own values and goals, enabling me to make decisions aligned with my personal and professional aspirations.

One of the noticeable improvements has been the boost in my confidence. Through discussions and practical exercises, I gained a deeper insight into my strengths and areas for improvement. This “self-awareness” has empowered me to approach tasks and challenges with a newfound sense of assurance.

The mentoring sessions also had a profound impact on my interpersonal relationships. I learned to reflect on internal dynamics and question behaviours and actions, not only of others but also my own. This has led to more meaningful and constructive interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.

I also would like to thank Abi for recognising the importance of my wellbeing. Thanks to the encouragement and support from Abi, I made the decision to prioritise self-care which involved some big and small actions.
